Phase 1: Inquiry & Understanding
After your initial inquiry, we invite you to share more about your trip, interests, travel style, and the kind of support you may need. This helps us understand your priorities and determine how Gourmet Lingual can best support you.
Phase 2: Private Consultation
We meet online to discuss your trip in more detail, clarify your priorities, and identify where Japan-based support would be most useful. We then confirm the proposed scope, timing, and estimated cost before moving forward.
Phase 3: Research & Preparation
Once your support plan is confirmed, we begin the agreed research and preparation. Depending on your needs, this may include travel and dining options, local research, reservation guidance, and communication with local providers. Our goal is to provide clear, practical options that fit your trip.
Phase 4: Online Support During Your Trip
If your support plan includes in-trip assistance, we remain available online during your time in Japan for questions, changes, and practical concerns within the agreed scope and service hours.
Engagement and Pricing Approach
Support with a Defined Scope and Timeframe
Our support is arranged around a clearly defined scope, giving us the time and context needed to provide thoughtful, consistent guidance.
• Engagement Basis: Our broader travel support is provided on a day-based basis, within defined service hours and an agreed scope.
• Minimum Duration: Our broader travel support is available for engagements of three days or more. Standalone Restaurant Search & Reservation Support can be requested separately, with no minimum duration.
• Timing: For broader travel support, we recommend reaching out at least 14 days before departure whenever possible. For standalone restaurant support, availability depends on the nature and timing of the request.
• Pricing: Pricing for broader travel support reflects the duration and scope of support. Standalone restaurant support is priced based on the scope and complexity of the request. An estimate is shared before work begins.
